How to Delete Your Account

Learn how to permanently delete your account and understand what happens to your data.

Important Warning

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including your profile, journal entries, saved verses, and subscription information will be permanently removed. This action is irreversible.

1. Delete Account Through Settings

The easiest way to delete your account is through your account settings:

  1. Log into your Proverbspath.com account
  2. Navigate to Settings (click your profile icon in the sidebar)
  3. Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section
  4. Click the "Delete Account" button
  5. Read the warnings about what will be deleted
  6. Type DELETE in the confirmation field
  7. Click "Delete My Account" and confirm in the final dialog
  8. Your account will be deleted immediately and you will be logged out

Note: If you have an active subscription, it will be cancelled automatically before your account is deleted.

2. Contact Support (Alternative Method)

If you cannot access your account or need assistance with deletion:

  1. Send an email to skyeproverbspath@gmail.com
  2. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line
  3. Provide your account email address
  4. State that you want to permanently delete your account
  5. We will process your request within 7 business days

3. What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Account Information: Your profile, email, name, phone number, and authentication data
  • Content: All journal entries, notes, prayers, reflections, and personal content
  • Saved Data: Saved verses, bookmarks, and reading progress
  • Subscription: Your subscription will be cancelled immediately
  • Usage Data: All AI usage history and analytics data
  • Preferences: All app settings and preferences

4. What Happens After Deletion

Immediate Effects:

  • You will be logged out of all devices immediately
  • Your account will be deactivated and cannot be accessed
  • You will not be able to log in or recover any data
  • Any active subscription will be cancelled immediately

Data Removal Timeline:

  • Personal data: Deleted immediately from active systems
  • Backup data: Removed within 30 days
  • Logs and analytics: Anonymized or deleted within 90 days

5. Important Notes

Account deletion is permanent. You cannot recover your account, data, or content after deletion. You would need to create a completely new account if you wish to use our services again.

Some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons, such as financial records for tax compliance, security logs for fraud prevention, or data required by law enforcement.
